Who we are. This website is published by PRESIVO, pllc ("PRESIVO," "we," "us"), a U.S. law firm headquartered in Utah (USA). Lawyers working for PRESIVO are not licensed in every state. We will tell you where the lawyer handling your matter is licensed before any engagement begins. If your matter turns on the law of a state or country where that lawyer is not licensed, we will tell you whether you need a lawyer licensed there. We give advice on U.S. law only. We do not advise on the law of Portugal, the European Union or any other country.

Attorney advertising. This website is attorney advertising. Its content is general information about our services and about legal topics. It is not legal advice, and it may not reflect recent changes in the law. Please don't act, or decide not to act, based on it without advice about your own situation.

No attorney-client relationship. Visiting this website, emailing or calling us, or booking a consultation does not by itself make you a client of PRESIVO, pllc. A relationship begins only when you and PRESIVO, pllc both sign a written engagement agreement, and only for the matter it describes. We represent only the person or company named in that agreement. We do not represent other founders, owners or investors unless the agreement says so.

Please don't send confidential information yet. Before an engagement agreement is signed, please don't send confidential, sensitive or time-sensitive information through this website, by email or through our booking page. To book a first conversation, the names of the people and companies involved and a sentence or two about the topic are enough. We use them to check for conflicts of interest. Sending us information does not protect any legal deadline or right. We may decline any matter.

First consultation. The first consultation is free. It is a conversation about whether we are a fit and what the main issues are. It is not legal advice.

No promise of results. Descriptions of our experience and services are not a promise or prediction of any result. Every matter depends on its own facts and law.
