Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
In short: We collect the information you choose to send us, plus basic technical data our web host and scheduling tool need to run. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. This website does not run advertising or session-recording tools.
Who we are. PRESIVO, pllc ("PRESIVO," "we," "us") is a U.S. law firm headquartered in Utah (USA). We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect. This website has no accounts and no online payments. We receive personal information only when you choose to give it to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and anything you write to us when you email or call us or book a consultation. If you book through our scheduling page, which is provided by HubSpot, HubSpot collects the details you enter and passes them to us. Our web host also processes basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site loads and stays secure.
Cookies and tracking. This website does not use advertising cookies, advertising pixels or session-recording tools. This website does not track visitors across other websites, so it does not change how it works in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals. If we add analytics tools later, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent. Our scheduling provider may set its own cookies when you use its page, and its privacy policy covers those.
How we use it. We use your information to reply to you, to schedule and hold a consultation, to check for conflicts of interest, to keep this website working and secure, and to meet our legal and professional obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising to third parties.
Confidentiality. What you tell us about a possible matter is protected by the professional conduct rules that apply to lawyers, even if we never work together. Even so, please don't send confidential or time-sensitive information through this website or by email until you and PRESIVO have signed an engagement agreement. Contacting us does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship (see our Disclaimer).
Who we share it with. We share it only with service providers that help us run the firm and this website, such as our email, scheduling, hosting and document-storage providers, and only for the purposes above. We may also disclose information if the law, a court or a regulator requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If PRESIVO were ever merged with or transferred to another law firm, we would handle client and inquiry information as our professional rules require.
Where it is processed. PRESIVO is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
How long we keep it. If an inquiry doesn't become an engagement, we keep it only as long as we need to respond and to keep conflict-check records. We keep client information for as long as our engagement terms and professional rules require.
Security. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No website, email or storage system is completely secure, which is another reason not to send confidential details before an engagement agreement is signed.
Your choices and rights. You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to [email protected]. We may need to keep some information for conflict checks or to meet legal obligations. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email we send by using the link in it or by telling us. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or California, the sections below also apply to you.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland
- Who is responsible. PRESIVO, pllc, in Utah (USA), is the "controller" of your personal information. That means we decide why and how it is used. Contact: [email protected].
- Why we use your information, and our legal basis.
- To reply to your inquiry and to schedule and prepare for a consultation you ask for. The basis is taking steps you request before entering into an engagement with us.
- To check for conflicts of interest and to meet the laws and professional rules that apply to us as a U.S. law firm. The basis is our legitimate interest in meeting those obligations, and, where European, U.K. or Swiss law requires the processing, a legal obligation.
- To keep this website working and secure, and to run our firm. The basis is our legitimate interest in a secure website and an orderly practice.
- Where we ask for your consent, such as for a marketing email list. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Withdrawing it does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
- You don't have to give us any information. Without your contact details, though, we can't reply to you or schedule a consultation.
- Who receives it. Our service providers for email, scheduling, hosting and document storage, and authorities or courts when the law requires it.
- Where it goes. We are in the United States. When you send us information, it goes to us in the United States, and our service providers may process it in the United States and other countries.
- How long we keep it. See "How long we keep it" above.
- Your rights. You can ask us for access to your information, and to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or give it to you in a portable format. You can object to our use of it that is based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time. To do any of this, write to [email protected].
- Complaints. You can complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, in particular where you live or work or where you believe a problem happened.
- Automated decisions. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
If you are a California resident
- What we collect. Identifiers (such as your name, email address, phone number and IP address). Professional information (such as your company name, if you give it). Internet activity on this website (such as browser type and the pages requested). And anything else you choose to write to us. We do not ask for sensitive personal information. If you send us any, we use it only to respond to you and to provide the services you ask for.
- Where it comes from. From you, from your browser when you visit this website, and from our scheduling provider when you book with us.
- Why we collect it. For the purposes listed in "How we use it" above.
- Who we disclose it to. We disclose the categories above to our service providers for email, scheduling, hosting and document storage, for the purposes above.
- We do not sell or share your information. This includes information about anyone under 16. In California law, "sharing" means giving personal information to a third party so it can target advertising at you based on your activity on other businesses' websites and apps. Because we do neither, there is nothing for an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, to opt you out of.
- How long we keep it. See "How long we keep it" above.
- Your rights. You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, including the categories, the sources, the purposes, the categories of recipients, and the specific pieces of information. You also have the right to ask us to delete it, subject to exceptions in the law, and to correct it if it is inaccurate.
- How to make a request. Write to [email protected]. We will ask you to confirm details we already have, such as your email address, so we can verify the request. Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We may ask for proof of that authorization and may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.
- No retaliation. We will not treat you differently or retaliate against you for using these rights.
- Do Not Track. This website does not track visitors across other websites, so it does not change how it works in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Children. This website is for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Other websites. This website may link to sites we don't control, such as LinkedIn or our scheduling provider. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Changes. If we change this policy, we will post the changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
